This Cookie Policy explains how LemonTree Training Co. (“LemonTree,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit lemontreetraining.com, create an account, purchase or take a course, or use our services. It applies to visitors wherever they are located. Privacy rights and consent requirements may differ by location.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. We may also use pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies. These tools can keep the site secure, remember choices, operate shopping and training features, measure site use, and support advertising when you permit it.
2. Cookie categories we use
Strictly necessary cookies
These technologies are required for core functions such as security, account login, course access, shopping-cart and checkout operation, fraud prevention, load balancing, and saving your privacy choices. They cannot be switched off through the consent banner because the site may not function correctly without them.
Preferences and functionality
These technologies remember optional settings or support enhanced features, including media and training functionality. Where required, they are used only after you allow the applicable category.
Analytics
With your permission, we use Google Analytics 4 through Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site and to improve our services. Analytics technologies are denied by default under our consent configuration.
Advertising and marketing
With your permission, we may use Google Ads, DoubleClick, and the Meta/Facebook Pixel to measure advertising performance, attribute conversions, and support audience or remarketing features. Advertising technologies are denied by default and should not activate until you allow marketing cookies.
3. Services that may place or use technologies
- Complianz: records and applies your privacy choices.
- WordPress, WooCommerce, and LearnDash: support site operation, accounts, purchases, course access, and training progress.
- Stripe and other selected checkout providers: support secure payment processing and fraud prevention.
- Wistia and related media providers: deliver course video and related functionality.
- Google: provides Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, and DoubleClick services after the applicable consent.
- Meta: provides the Facebook/Meta Pixel after marketing consent.
Third-party providers may process information under their own privacy terms. See the Google Privacy Policy and Meta Privacy Policy for additional information.
4. Your consent choices
On your first visit, the consent banner lets you choose Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Customize. Rejecting non-essential technologies does not prevent necessary cookies from operating.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Privacy choices control displayed on the site. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. Your new choice applies on future page loads; you may also delete existing cookies through your browser.
5. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track
We honor supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals through our consent configuration. Browser support and the legal effect of these signals may vary by jurisdiction.
6. How long technologies remain
Some cookies are deleted when you close your browser, while others remain for a defined period so they can remember settings or measure activity over time. Necessary and consent-preference cookies may remain for the period needed to provide their function. Analytics and advertising retention periods depend on the provider and our configuration. You can delete stored cookies at any time in your browser settings.
7. Browser controls
Most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies. Blocking all cookies may prevent account, checkout, course, or security features from working correctly. Browser controls are separate from the site’s Privacy choices interface.
8. Personal information and your rights
For details about the information we collect, how we use and disclose it, retention, security, and privacy rights that may apply to you, please read our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy when our services, providers, technologies, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version on this page and update the “Last updated” date.
